We have bravely decided to change our booking software….I know I know, last time was a disaster and we swore we would never go there again.... but we have because the Fresha system is awesome!
Nothing much will change on your end however the biggest change will be with your first confirmation on the system, I believe some of you may have already accidentally got one before we went live…. Ooops sorry our bad, shouldn't be allowed to touch the buttons!
When you get your first confirmation from our Fresha system, it will ask you to confirm with your card, we absolutely promise this is 100% safe and secure. The card details are stored by a 3rd party that handles the likes of Spotify, Uber, Airbnb and thousands more… probs pretty boring but feel free to check them out if you like… https://www.adyen.com/customers
You will only be asked this once and your reminders will come as normal.
P.S we have no access to your card details at all so there will be no fancy shoes being purchased on your card by Team Lunatic!!
Why are we confirming with a card?
As a small business last minute cancellations and no shows greatly affect us so we have updated our cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled without 24hrs notice may result in a 50% cancellation fee and if someone fails to arrive for their appointment they will be charged for 100% of the booking.
Charging the fees are completely at our discretion and our loyal long term Lunatic Lovers need not worry because they are simply never guilty of repeatedly cancelling or not showing up!
P.S No money will be taken at confirmation ever.
An awesome thing to know is once you have a credit card stored on your profile you can use that card to check-out instead of lining up at the desk… no need to wait to pay. (Don’t worry eftpos is still an option if you want to use a different card)
Another awesome thing to know is we will now be offering ONLINE BOOKING, imagine, you wake up at 2am “ Sh#t I forgot to book my hair appointment” you can simply click the button! No need to wait for the emails (which we will still send just in case you prefer it)
