Lunatic Fringe is looking for their next Super Star 1st year apprentice or Salon assistant
We are an up-market, creative hair salon, with a major focus on producing stunning hair colour. We are short hair specialists and are known for taking care of the peeps with curls. Above all we love to have a good laugh!
While our environment is fashionably creative, our commitment to an outstanding level of service for our guests is second to none. We want people to be at home here and leave feeling amazing… A salon assistant plays a super important role in that!
This position is like a hospitality role with a twist… This role is actually FUN!
We have fulltime part time hours available… Perfect after school/weekend job!!
We are also up for offering a first year or school based apprenticeship for the right person…….
Supporting the hairstylists you will;
Assist at front of house, meeting and greeting our clients.
Be trained to a high standard as a professional shampooist.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the salon at all times.
Make and serve refreshments to guests during their visit.
Be engaged in our social media platforms, including taking photos and video at times.
Eventually be trained in the use of hair care products, blow drying and basic colour application…plus anything else you may want to learn!
Ideally you will have;
A willingness to deliver exceptional service.
Be able to prioritize and remain calm during intense busy periods.
Excellent communication.
Absolutely love people and relate well to people from all walks of life.
Live and breathe amazing customer service!
Have a social conscience… just genuinely being a kind person.
